LEZLY DÍAZMIN DÍAZ NOH
I was born on November 16, 1999, in the municipality of Buctzotz, Yucatán, Mexico. I am the daughter of merchant Hilario Díaz Talles, originally from Cenotillo, and Mrs. Hernilda Noh Aldana, originally from Buctzotz. My mother was the one who raised and educated me in the town of Buctzotz.
From a very young age, my passion for music became evident. At the age of 7, I began to discover the world of music at the San Francisco Tzacalha hacienda, in the municipality of Dzidzantún. This experience marked the beginning of my musical training and led me to specialize in the violin and transverse flute in the city of Mérida, under the guidance of maestro Juan José Tzab.
My musical career has allowed me to perform in various theaters in the city of Mérida, such as Peón Contreras, Armando Manzanero, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Daniel Ayala, among others. I have also had the opportunity to perform in different municipalities throughout the state of Yucatán.
I taught music theory and instrument performance at Colegio Tizimín, and I am part of the Casa de la Cultura de Buctzotz 2024–2027.
In 2022, I founded the organization "La Casita del Canto", which has allowed more than 80 children from the comisarías of Buctzotz to learn to play musical instruments.
Additionally, I am working on the creation of a violin ensemble in the city of Tizimín, Yucatán. My goal is to share my passion for music with others and contribute to the cultural development of my community.
