JOSÉAS MONTALVO
He was born in the city of Chetumal, Quintana Roo, on July 3, 1972. He currently resides in the city of Bacalar, Quintana Roo. Graduated in Business Administration with a postgraduate degree in Visual Arts and was born in González Ortega, municipality of Othón P. Blanco, Quintana Roo. He is a visual artist with various seminars and diplomas in different techniques, such as engravings, lithographs, aquatints, drypoint, among others. He currently has over two hundred exhibitions, both individual and group exhibitions. He has exhibited in Mexico, Germany, Spain, Cuba, Belize, and eighteen countries in North America. In 2023, his work was recognized by the Magazine International and he was selected to be featured on several pages, showcasing his work to the entire world. In 2024, he was awarded a recognition by the UNESCO Chair on Adult Education for his hard work as a visual artist, working with children and young people. In the same year, Magazine Gold Women International published his most outstanding works on its cover. He is currently a special collaborator in this magazine.
Joséas Montalvo lives in the city of Bacalar. He is a teacher and conducts painting workshops for children, young people, and adults.
He has held exhibitions in the state of Quintana Roo, Tabasco, Campeche, Chiapas, Veracruz, Tamaulipas, Hidalgo, Belize, Cuba, Germany, Texas, North America, and Spain.
