ORÍGENES

Yucatecan and self-taught painter, born on April 24, 1977, in the municipality of Maxcanú. His beginnings in drawing started spontaneously during childhood, and over time, he delved into it in a more professional manner. His learning was primarily based on practice, books, and the influence of painters from within the state and beyond. He defines his pictorial and thematic style as figurative painting, highlighting costumbrismo and artistic nude.

In 2013, he began a project focused on teaching drawing and painting in his hometown, called Taller de dibujo y pintura Caminantes (Caminantes Drawing and Painting Workshop). This workshop remains active to this day, with classes held both in his municipality and in the city of Mérida.

He has participated in various group and solo exhibitions in several municipalities throughout the state
